35 Years of Remodeling in the Lake Norman Community
(Davidson, NC) International Kitchen & Bath, a leader in the remodeling industry, proudly celebrates 35 years of renovating kitchens and bathrooms in the Lake Norman area. Since its founding in 1989, IK&B’s commitment to innovation, excellence and superior customer service fostered the growth and success that led to numerous achievements and recognition in the trade.
Mr. Brian Tarle, Owner and CEO, began his remodeling business in Cornelius. And three years later, was incorporated and moved to the current location at 201 Griffith Street in Davidson, NC.
“We started out modestly doing small remodeling projects,” Tarle said. “As the area grew, it quickly became clear that we needed to have a place where customers could see the actual cabinets and fixtures in a showroom setting,” he elaborated. “We needed the showroom plus space to grow. And as our customer base grew and word of mouth spread about the quality of our work and dedication of our team, so did the opportunities to design kitchens, bathrooms and custom spaces,” he went on to say. “Requests for remodeled kitchens and bathroom renovations were the core of our business,” Tarle explained. “Then, customers asked if we could organize a closet or rearrange a mud room or pantry.”
Thanks to an award-winning team of designers and support staff, International Kitchen & Bath experienced continued growth through all economic cycles. “We did total renovations and basic bathroom cabinet replacements, even when the economy was struggling. It just made more sense for homeowners to remodel and stay-in-place than to sell and buy a new home with all the latest kitchen and bathroom gadgets,” smiled Tarle.
